Pharmacist turned Farmacist
I always had a passion for utilizing natural medicine to unlock the body’s healing potential. The interest of how compounds and chemicals work within the body led me to pursue a doctorate of pharmacy through the University of Missouri, Kansas City.
Upon graduation, I went to work at the independent pharmacy my family owned and gained a compassion for people struggling with chronic conditions with little to no education or guidance on how to better their lives and improve their medical conditions with lifestyle changes.
This motivated me to find an avenue where I could take the time to educate patients and walk side-by-side with them to help make changes in their diet and exercise while supporting them with evidence based supplement and vitamin regimens to support their body through these changes — hence the birth of Remedy.
My passion is to educate people how to tap into the God-given natural healing potential of their bodies and work with them to develop plans to achieve their health goals that they can stick to.
Fun Fact: my husband and I have 3 kids and started a family elderberry farm…now I truly am a pharmacist turned farmacist :)
